When was the last time someone told you that you are mad?
Yesterday? Last week? A month? Start worrying! If nobody (children excluded) has rolled their eyes at you waiting for this latest bout of insanity to pass over - I think you better start asking yourself why.
In my humble opinion - it may indicate:
You're stuck in your comfort zone! Gains are usually found when you stretch your limits.
Your staff think it - but don't say it; have you truly created an environment in which doubting and questioning are really legitimate?
Your staff say it but you don't hear it; maybe your defense mechanisms are slightly too high?
Any of the above could indicate that you are not exactly where you want to be. Could I have stumbled on the ultimate litmus test of effective leadership? Of true Authenticity? Or maybe... I just Mad!!
I'd love to hear your opinions!
